BORN 1976 in Toronto, Canada
Jaret Vadera completed his undergraduate education at the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, and the Cooper Union School of Art in New York. He then went on to receive his Masters of Fine Art in Painting and Printmaking from the Yale University School of Art in New Haven. His work has been exhibited at a number of venues including: Tilton Gallery, NY; Project 88, BOM; Thomas Erben, NY; Religare Arts, ND; the Queens Museum of Art, NY; Paved Art and New Media, CAN; P.P.O.W Gallery, NY; Triple Candie, NY; and the Travancore Palace, ND. Through his work, Vadera explores the dynamic relationship between desire, power, and the unknown. Investigating the layered processes through which we "make sense" of the worlds around and within us.
